Keep the poisons off your hair and body, maintain glorious color, and have ethical confidence using our All Natural, Certified Organic & Cruelty-Free ingredients.
Perfect For:
• Daily Shampoo, Body Wash, Shave Soap
How To Use:
• Use like any standard shampoo. Work into a thick lather and rinse. Repeat if desired.
WARNING: This Shampoo is Amazing & Addictive!
The three plant-based surfactants (bubble makers) make a rich micro-lather that resembles a foamy silk—feels awesome. At their tiny size they can zoom through your hair and scalp, separate all the shafts, penetrate deep down to the follicle root, and carry away all unwanted dirt and oil.
Plus the gentle pH, sulfate-free base maintains perfect scalp health and extends life of color.
Geranium & Lavender Essential Oil Combo:
Soothe the scalp. Detox & stimulate the follicles. Lavender oil cascades over the scalp like a calming wave; Geranium oil gently tones & detoxes the follicles. Both provide natural anti-bacterial & deodorant protection to keep your hair smelling fresh (without heavy artificial perfumes). Just all natural you.
Enjoy a Pacific Northwestern classic—soothing invigoration.
It’s a Color-Safe, Clarifying Shampoo that Absolutely Rocks.

This stuff is great, but you need to know certain caveats. I live in humid and hot as hell Miami. I have 2C curls. I can scrunch properly and get waves or curls or can get it kind of straight. My hair is moody: I try highlights it’s gets nasty dry. I use only henna and my hair is a wash and go. So here is what I learned: I ONLY use this shampoo when I want the softest waves: no conditioner, no cream, no styling products. NOTHING. I crunch with LOHY microfiber hand gloves and air dry. When it is in the process of drying DON’T touch it. The hair feels weird, but as soon as it dries it is SOFT heaven. If I want it straight I will put the conditioner ONLY on the ends, and after it dries I used a straightening hot brush real quick. DONE! I am a “lotions and potions” junky. I have purchased it ALL!!!

I really wanted to love this shampoo, but I am perplexed. It somehow leaves my hair sticky? I’ve never had this happen before. I love the idea of all-natural and plant-based, but this just simply doesn’t work as shampoo for my hair, which is normal texture. Try it, I hope it works for you.

I wanted to love this shampoo – I really did- but couldn’t. I have post-chemo/radiation hair (untouched by heat or chemicals besides TOXIC chemo) that is now extremely thin and fragile but used to be so thick. I was hoping to regain some of that volume and wanted to go natural for my health, but this shampoo just made my already-limp hair even more limp and greasy. I almost feel like it left a film on my hair.
To be fair, I had very oily hair/scalp before cancer, but it isn’t nearly as oily now after treatment-induced menopause, so I didn’t think it would be an issue. Perhaps it would be better for people with more dry hair/scalp? It might be the matching conditioner that is leaving the film? Maybe it’s the chemo growing out in my hair shafts? Or it might be all of the sweating from hot flashes that is weighing it down? I *did* prefer the Lemongrass Rosemary shampoo & conditioner, so maybe that option would be better for people who tend to be more oily, though my hair still got greasy sooner than usual with that one also. I am going to use the Neutral Henna Treatment and Amla to see if clarifying my scalp helps the shampoos perform better.
If not, I will definitely use them as body wash or shave soap. They DO make my hands sooooo soft after washing my hair and smell lovely. I could always use them on my 8yo child’s perfect hair also. And, besides, after cancer, I’ll sacrifice some volume for non-toxic products ANY DAY. I’ll still purchase from HCL for that fact alone.
If the hair treatments help, or if I notice a change after the hot flashes/sweating end or the chemo grows out of my hair, I will definitely update my review. I greatly appreciate what HCL is doing for the environment, the community, and our bodies, so it pains me to leave this review. I mostly just want people with oily hair to know this shampoo might not be the best option for them and to choose one of the other blends.

After a hair dye allergy and switching to henna, I did a lot of research on Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Apparently, it has the ability to stunt hair growth so I switch to Henna Color Lab Lavender Geranium shampoo. I love this stuff so much. It leaves your hair squeaky clean and no need for conditioner. I have become adverse to using any store bought shampoo to the point where I bring this shampoo to my hairdresser! The smell is fantastic and I get a whiff throughout the day.

I have very fine, limp, oily hair. It’s also thinning a bit after I had my baby a few months ago. Okay, so this shampoo does make my hair feel quite heavy and residue-y. But… it has caused my hair to have AMAZING volume. I only used this shampoo (no conditioner, no other products, no diffuser) and my hair looks so luxurious. It’s like movie star hair lol. My mother-in-law even noticed and asked how I got my hair looking so full. But that isn’t even the best part. I have had eczema for years and have used every type of lotion available, moisturizing body wash, and even resorted to using a prescription steroid cream for my red and irritated skin. I decided to try this using this as body wash. OMG, no joke, but after using this only twice my redness and irritation disappeared! I don’t even need to apply lotion or use my steroid cream anymore. I am so happy! I promise I am not being paid to write this review. I am just so pleased with the product! Where have you been my whole life ?

I love the Lavender Geranium Shampoo and Conditioner~It smells so good and my scalp and hair feel so clean and healthy. I will not use the other drugstore shampoos again! Just wondering what is the shelf life on these, since they have the natural ingredients.

I love lavender shampoo and conditioner. I am a first time user, I love how there is no oily feeling left in the hair. I felt the difference immediately after shampooing, my scalp actually felt lighter, it was like a weight was lifted off m head. Meaning that with all the different commercial products I was using they left so much of the product in my hair, it actually weighted my hair down. I am reordering the full sizes now.
